The National Fire Protection Association recommends that chimneys be inspected and cleaned, if necessary, at least once a year or more frequently as required to ensure an adequate draft, clearance, soundness, and freedom from combustable deposits.(NFPA 211-1-10)

Your furnace vents into your chimney. Your fuel company is not respondsible for cleaning chimneys, therefore we recommend contacting us annually for an inspection.
